Arbbour is a personal finance platform built for Kenya's digital economy. We help you track income and expenses, discover gigs, follow live markets, and build financial literacy — all in one place. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

You must be at least 18 years old. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. One account per person. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that abuse the platform, post fraudulent gigs, or violate any term below.

Arbbour offers a Free tier and a Pro tier ($8/month). Pro unlocks unlimited transactions, live market data, DeFi tracking, and priority support. Subscriptions renew monthly and can be cancelled at any time — no lock-in, no penalty.

Gig listings on Arbbour are curated third-party opportunities. We do not guarantee employment, payment, or the conduct of any poster or applicant. Always use your judgement before engaging with any employer. Arbbour is not a party to any agreement between users.

Market data, signals, and Academy content are for educational and informational purposes only. Nothing on Arbbour constitutes professional financial, investment, or legal advice. Always consult a qualified advisor before making investment decisions.

You agree not to: attempt unauthorised access to any system, post false or misleading gig listings, scrape or automate data extraction, reverse-engineer any part of the platform, or use Arbbour for any unlawful purpose. Violations result in immediate account termination.

All content, design, and code on Arbbour belongs to Arbbour Ltd. Your personal financial data belongs to you. You may export it at any time. We do not claim ownership of any content you enter into the app.

Arbbour is provided "as-is". We are not liable for financial losses, data loss due to device failure, or third-party actions. Our maximum liability to any user is limited to the subscription fees paid in the preceding 3 months.

We may update these terms. When we do, we'll notify you by email (if provided) and post a notice in the app. Continued use after 30 days of notification constitutes acceptance.

When you sign up we collect your name and email address. The financial records you enter (transactions, goals, budgets) are stored securely and are private to your account.

Your data is used exclusively to operate the service: to display your dashboard, send account notifications, and provide customer support. We use anonymised, aggregated statistics (e.g. "X% of users track food expenses") to improve the product — never individual data.

Data is stored on servers in Kenya. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt — we never store them in plain text. Connections are encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. We conduct regular security reviews.

We use M-PESA (Safaricom) for payment processing — only your phone number is shared with them during a transaction. We use public market data APIs (CoinGecko, Frankfurter) for prices — these receive no personal information. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar tracking tools.

We use browser local storage to save your preferences (theme, layout) and financial data for offline access. We use a session cookie for authentication only. We use no third-party tracking cookies.

Under Kenyan data protection law and international best practice, you have the right to: access your data, correct inaccuracies, delete your account, and receive a copy of your data. Exercise these rights by emailing hello@arbbour.com.
